The Studio

Carol Paquet founded CorkStop Studios in 2006 along with Anne Stahl, a fellow artist from Germany. The studio is located on the Central Coast, California, a mere five minute drive from the Pacific ocean and tucked in next to vineyards at the foothill of the Los Padres National Forrest. The studio, 2500 square foot of luminous space currently has four resident artists. Carol Paquet, Anne Stahl, Roger Lee and Pacha. It opens to the public a few times a year to showcase the work of these artists and also to feature guests artists, either locally or from further afield. CorkStop Studios is also a venue for creative workshops and artist retreats.
